The Monaco, hands down. Great location, enthusiastic service, and Panzano is a wonderful place to dine, entertain, or grab a glass of vino and a memorable snack.

We love the Hotel Monaco!!!! It has an aveda spa and fabulous restaurant, Panzanos! (what more do you need) The Hotel is in the middle of downtown yet still very quiet. The goldfish in our room was the best! I love the visiting pets in this pet friendly hotel.
The Hotel Monaco is so nice it's hard to leave it to do the many other great things in Denver.

My favorite Denver hotel is the Brown Palace. Other than a one-time annoying problem that guest cell phones caused the fire alarms to trip, every visit has been a real pleasure. It is convenient to everything downtown, it's beautiful, comfortable, easy to find and at least as important, easy to get in and out of, with parking driectly across the street.

The Brown Palace - hands down. So much character and history. Eisenhower used to run the country from the top floor! The layout is like an Embassy Suites -- circa 1890.
Service is exceptional. On my first visit (I've since stayed there half a dozen times) I returned to my room in the evening and picked up the ice bucket to make a trek down the hall to the ice machine. But lo and behold it was already filled. As was the water pitcher next to it. It's attention to the small things like this that bring you back to an earlier time.
