The Palmer House - it's a walk back in time and convenient to everywhere.

I find staying in Rolling Meadows Schaumburg area more appealing to me my family from Spring Hill Suites; Homewood Suites or Embassy Suites. Fabulous area with lots to do!

Michigan Avenue is nice, but the Lakeshore W is the place to be in the Summer.

I love staying at the Ambsassador East. It has a rich history the compliments the city. The Pump Room restaurant on the groung floor is a great place to have dinner or a drink. The location this magnificent old hotel is fantastic. Just two blocks north of the famed miracle mile, it sits in one of the prettiest and most walkable neighborhoods in all of Chicago.
The rooms are inviting, and you will love the service the staff heaps upon you.

The Peninsula Hotel Chicago is by far the best hotel in the city. With the renovation of the spa to the large pool, interesting assortment of restaurants and rooms that have all of the latest technology.
Last but not least is the location - right on North Michigan Avenue above the Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, American Girl and Tiffany's stores.
Prepare to pamper yourself.

I just booked some colleagues at the Hotel Burnham. They loved it. Big fluffy robes, good food. Perfect location for our business meetings. Their turndown received rave reviews. My boss had a two hour conference call and decided to take a walk to clear his head - he left for 15 minutes - came back, covers turned down, chocolate AND soft music. He was pleased - so was I!

Chicago is the greatest city in the US, in my opinion, and there are a TON of great places to stay. I see the Palmer House and others mentioned, but I would have to say that the Hotel Sofitel, Suissotel, the W, the Drake and The Knickerbocker are also excellent places to stay. Plus, if you stay in the Suissotel, you can book a table at the Palms Restaraunt off of the lobby and have a nice steak!
