My husband and I spent 6 days in Boston last Summer. We stayed at the Hilton at Logan Airport - it was FABULOUS! Great staff. Nice pool. Good food - good location - their shuttle takes you to the subway and / or the water taxi. You call them - them come and get you. I'd recommend it anytime.

The Boston Marriott Long Wharf is outstanding. Great rooms and location. Close to Fannuel Hall, the sports complexes and North Boston (for some good ole Italian food!). Early morning walks along the bay are calming and serene.

I used to stay at the Marriott at Copley Square until I showed up for a multiple-day stay in November 2003 only to find that the hotel wasn't able to honor my "guaranteed" reservation. They "walked" me to a new hotel down Stuart Street located in the old Back Bay Boston police headquarters. It's called the Jurys Hotel, one of two U.S. locations in the Irish Jurys Doyle hotel group. What a fantastic place and experience. Since that fall 2003 visit, it's the only place I stay when I go to Boston. The rooms are great, service outstanding and there's got some cool night life in the "Cuffs" lounge on the first level if you need to let your hair down a bit.

The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square, Cambridge is a great spot and offers two great restaurants: Henrietta's Table (known for their Sunday brunch and wholesome ingredients) and fancier Rialto as well as the Regatta Bar- a jazz club. It is close to the train (the T) giving you quick access to Boston. Cambridge has lots of squares to explore: Harvard Square, Central Square, Porter Square or Davis Square (in Somerville) and all within walking or T distance. Each offers restaurants, coffee spots and fun shops to explore. Also if you like to run or walk the Charles River path is great for that.
