Hotel Max

Hotel Max Seattle
I've been staying at the Hotel Max in downtown Seattle since it (re-)opened. Hotel Max is a thorougly modern boutique hotel with comfort and amenities to rival anything downtown. While the rooms are small (the hotel was built early in the 1900s as The Vance) the complete top-to-bottom refurbishment leaves little to be desired. Flat-screen TVs, comfy beds and a trendy sushi restaurant in the lobby round out the experience. Plus, it's walkable to all of downtown Seattle. My number 1 choice!

The Edgewater hotel is right on the water and has the ambience of a log cabin in the woods.
The service by ALL the personel we came in contact with was fantastic. I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff went so far out of their way to accomadate any and all of our needs.

I couldn't agree more about the Hotel Max. Comfortable beds, great design everywhere, fun staff, and the breakfast menu is delicious.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle (next to the convention center). Aesthetically nice hotel within walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants, but the service at the hotel was marginal. The best service was from the bell staff and the concierge desk! The front desk was less than helpful, the restaurant was pricy and left you waiting and waiting.

Hotel Max - Great location, film noir surroundings and great staff.
