Westin Harbour Castle
This hotel is directly downtown and on the lakefront - it is close to the hockey hall of fame, some great restaurants (Harbour sixty) and great shopping (Eaton Center, Bloor St, etc.) are all a short distance from this hotel.

Toronto has a wealth of fabulous bed and breakfasts available in and around the downtown area. They are well worth checking out, and are where I stay when I'm in Toronto.

Holiday Inn-Markham--I am a frequent business traveler and spend about 2 weeks a month in the greater Toronto area. The HI Markham gives me a great central point to get pretty much everywhere that I want. It's not too busy and has a great lounge, and breakfast. I am an Elite Priority Club member and love the Junior Suite here. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling for business.

The Soho hotel at Wellington and Blue Jay Way is about a 10 minute walk to the Skydome where you can see sporting and concert events (and a celebrity or two i.e. puff daddy, coldplay etc). They have very nice contemporary suites and about a block away from trendy/underground Queen street and the club district.

We stay at Skydome to enjoy the entire baseball experience. Definitely on our list of places to return.

Sheraton Hotel downtown is EXCELLENT! It is located in the heart of downtown and has easy access to the subway and eliminates expensive cab fares. There are excellent restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The rooms are very nice and the staff is very helpful. Highly recommened!!
